Jessica sighed as she sat down next to the lake and looked out over the frozen water. Since everything has happened she has been spending more time alone then with everyone else, she just feels better that way. Looking up at the sky she closed her eyes and let the warmth of the sun cool her face as she wondered what all her friends might think about her.

Bakuriyu exited the school, looking up at the sky. It was cloudy, but not enough to hide the bright Sun as it warmed the earth below. He loved the feeling of the warm light against his skin, it was comforting after the previous events that occurred. It felt god when there was rain as well, almost a cleansing feeling as water brushed over everything. Being an earth Tamashi, he tok pleasure in things like that.
Walking towards the lake, he saw someone sitting beside the lake. At first he didn't notice, but while he got closer it became clear to him that the figure sitting there was Jessica. He paused, considering going somewhere else and leaving her to her thoughts. Instead, he started walking again, she obviously was not okay. Something seemed different about her since what happened. Stopping beside where she sat, he lowered his head to look at her.
He thought a moment before speaking, but decided to get to the point. "You tell someone you're alright when you're clearly not." He spoke gently. Jeremih told him that he didn't believe that Jessica was truly alright, but that he didn't know what to do. Baku hadn't planned on talking to Jessica about it, but he ended up doing it anyways.

Jessica frowned as she heard Baku talk to her. Opening her eyes, she blinked a few times before she turned her head and looked at him. "I am alright Baku, im not lieing"she said quietly towards him before she looked out over the water. "Why can't anyone believe me when I say I am"she asked as she reached down and played with a strand of grass.

Baku waited to see how she would respond, sitting down on the grass and looking at her. She seemed distraught with his comments to her, and for a moment he thought he had spoken out too bluntly. It didn't matter to him though since he always spoke bluntly. Jeremih might not do it often, but Baku did it the most of their small group of friends which seemed to keep growing.
He sighed, raising a brow. "Because you're not being very convincing."

Jessica looked over at him and studied him for a bit. "Why should I waste my energy making people believe me when i could be putting my energy back into the earth"she asked him. Turning her head she looked over across the lake. "Im fine with what happened, I dont feel anything towards it I havent really felt anything since i was healed by the earth, im just netural"she said quietly.

"Why put your energy back into the earth rather than keep it within you. The earth has energy without you giving it." She was telling this to the roots guy, earth was one with himself as well as her. She probably knew that too. He analyzed her expressions, looking over her face with his dark green eyes. "You wouldn't have to put any energy into making people believe you, if you told the full truth. Don't lie to yourself."
She was contemplative to hom. Neutral? She didn't exactly give off a neutral vibe. Plus neutral was not the best kind of feeling to have after an occurrence of that nature. Jeremih was still worried about her, so he himself yearned to know what she really felt right now. She could just be avoiding having to feel anything about the situation by gifting her energy to the earth.
The grass around him was a brighter green where he sat, everywhere he touched the earth livened brightly more than it even was before. Nature needed no ones energy to live, it was powerful and flighty. He himself was more than connected to nature. His soul tree made him nature as well.

Jessica sat there and turned looking out at the water. "What do you truly want Baku, no offense but you've never really showed much interest in me"she said. Taking off her showes she rolled up her pants and put her feet in the water of the lake.

Glancing out at the further reaches of the lake, Baku thread his hands through the grass. H sat there for a minute before finally admitting "Jeremih is still bothered by it. I asked for his assurance, but i think you're more than just neutral about it. There's no problem with that either." A faint grin tainted his lips. "You could always shoo me away, but i doubt Jeremih will believe your answer; he's too worried." Doubtful is it that she knows Jeremih couldn't actually find her to ask himself. He had his own injuries that caught up to him.
