Grimm sighed, pressing his hand against his chest, wincing slightly. /Damn, that still hurts.../ he thought to himself. He pressed his other hand against a tree, his copper eyes on the ground. Grass, to be exact, since he was in the forest. He leaned against the tree, looking into the forest ahead of him.

His eyes were special. No, not any power, just...like a sixth sense, in his eyes. He could see anything invisible or hidden. Even stranger, he could look at anything, and see any other forms it might have. Say a werewolf, he could see their other form, more transparent, walking right on top of the person, overlapped. He's somehow managed to be able to see the forms beside the person instead, as the other way feels creepy to him. He spotted a tree carrying many ripen apples. He was contemplating getting one down or not.

Maria smiled as she moved into the forest. Knowing she had to be home within a few hours to make dinner for her father before he got to angry. She sighed lightly as she moved about the forest looking for anything interesting she could find. Kicking at rocks as she moved she hummed lightly moving forward.

She knew there were other things, people in the woods that if they wanted could hurt her. Knowing that they couldnt do anything worse to her then what already had been done to her on a regular basis. Walking through she took deep breaths to calm her nerves. No one had bothered her in the forest before. "Why would today be any different." She asked herself quietly.

Grimm looked to where he thought he faintly heard someone speaking. His dragon senses were working well today. He cocked his head, leaning off the tree and shoving his hands in his pockets. He took a couple steps forward, looking around the nearest tree to himself. "Hello? Someone there?" he questioned into the air just before looking around the tree. He had a very nonchalant walk, but at a closer look, he just seemed tired. His eyes were the only vibrant quality, contrasting with his tired appearance.

Maria heard someone call out. "Yes hello. Sorry I didnt know anyone would be here." she told the man as she kept a fair bit away from him. She thought it would be wise to keept her distance until she knew if he would be friend or foe. She walked lightly but slowly to keep her clumsyiness away. "I didnt mean to intruppt what you were doing here." she added lightly. She noticed his eyes were a different color. They were rather vibrant for a human she thought to herself.

Grimm shrugged in response to her saying she interrupted. "Oh, it doesn't matter...it's a big enough forest for more than one person to wander around. You weren't interrupting anything though, so don't worry. What were you doing in here though?" he asked her, puzzled.

He noticed that she kept her distance. /Well, that's not a bad thing. I am a stranger after all. It would be dangerous to just run up to a unfamiliar person./ it was midday at the moment, so there was a minimum amount of sunlight. He never was a fan of the dark...Even though his animal side aloud him to see well in it. "It's a bit dangerous to walk around alone isn't it?" he added.

"That is true it is a rather big forest." She told him lightly. She leaned against a tree that was closest to her. "Lets just say I was avoiding somone while I could. "She told him lightly. "It depends who is around and who I fear more." She told him looking him up and down. "What are you doing out here?" Maria asked him. He seemed to belong in the forest. Like he was at home.

Grimm watched as she gently leaned back against the tree behind her. She was suspicious of him, he noted, keeping that in mind as he responded to her. "The forest is a good place to go to avoid someone. That's a good point." He gently let out a breath, almost a light sigh. Why though? It sounded kind of unnatural. "Not a serious reason as yours, i must comment, depending upon who you are avoiding. I come here a lot to relax. It is a nice place to be, over the noisy town." he told her honestly. It was like he left something out when he said 'to relax'. He leaned one shoulder against the tree to the left of him, awaiting her response. /How awkward, i feel she's become more suspicious of me than when i first stepped out./

(oh, btw, i dont care about surprises and such, so if u evewr have any surprise attacks, ur free to attack grimmy fyi. jus sayin cus it seems other ppl here have u ask before hurtin their charrie:p)

"Relaxing in a forest by yourself. You come out here often then I assume." She told him lightly as she watched his face for any sign of agression. She played with her long braid as she wondered if she should leave him to be alone. As it seemed that was what would make him far happier. "The town can be a pain but it has its uses." she told him while observing the tree she was leaning on. She noticed it had ripened apples. She wondered how long he would be in this area hoping to get a chance to get a couple apples for her self.

(oh no it dont matter, was jus sayinXD altho i think we should think of some way for them to have to fight...be it against things and maybe she gets creeped by his fighting style, or sumthin...maybe sumthin comes after her? and i think itd be cool if she had..like, a youkai beast as a friendXD. or she could have..hm...power to control animals with her voice!! ...?)

Grimm aloud a small smile to gently make its way onto his face. "Quite a bit, yeah, you're right. What about you? Who, may i ask, are you avoiding by coming in here." he questioned her, honestly quizzical. "I guess you're right. I get tense around so many people though, so i can't hang around there much. I guess i'm just a bit shy." he shrugged, although regretted it, as it slightly gave him pain.
He noticed, looking at her face, that she seemed to be eyeing the apple tree she was leaning against. He smiled again, but it faded quickly. He looked up at one of the apples for about a second, and it fell lightly onto the ground besides her(who r u using again, forgt her nameXD love that the title is 'You' btwXD). He normally didn't use his gravity power to help, but he felt the small gesture did him no harm.

((I love the animal controling with her voice. smile.gif That will be her power then. and how about her father comes looking for her because she didnt have dinner ready when she got home. As this was what he ordered? She didnt get there on time because she lost track of time talking to Grimm. and Maria. lol. and well I thought it was just easier lol. becasue it depended on you to answer. tongue.gif ))

"I come out here as often as I can. Mainly to avoid my father." She said playing with her dress. "When my father is at home if I can get away. But otherwise when he is away I come out here to be free." She told him as she watched an apple fall from the tree beside her. Smiling as she was quite happy for the crimistance. she bent and picked it up. "Do you want to share it?"Maria asked him with a dazzling smile. "You do not seem to be all that shy." she told him while she waited for him to answer her question.

(cool! and hm ok, but maybe he brought some power guards to help bring her back in case she was in danger/wouldnt come back? maybe he distrusts grimm too? brb now, be back later!)

His eyes grew slightly less vibrant when she told him about her father. "Is he a bad father?" he questioned her, cocking his head. Grimm's smile had slipped away. /Why do i care that she seemed happy about that?/ he pondered in his head to himself. "That's because you seem cautious of me. /What a bright smile./ he thought. "It's alright, i can get another one down, anyways." he told her, and as if on time, another fell. He walked over, taking his hand and picking it up. He looked at her, a mysterious smile. "See?" he added. He could have just climbed the tree and got it, but he was feeling too lethargic for that. He wondered how long until she discovered he could manipulate gravity. And this took no physical energy, too. Since he does it by doing an equation in his head and applying it to any item. He could even make his punches more effective with it, or someone feel really heavy.

"I suppose you could put it that way." She told him keeping the conversation on her father from going further. "I have taught myself to be cautious of anyone I meet in these woods. You never know what could be hiding out her or who." She told him while smiling at a little baby squrieel. She called to it lightly and smiled when it complied and crawled up to her open arms letting her pet it affectiontly. When she saw another apple fall she finally got it. "Your the one doing that." She told him brightly. "That must be handy." She told him smiling as she sat letting the small animal move to her lap while she ate her apple.

Grimm noticed that she seemed to kind of avoid the topic of her father. She was probably uncomfortable talking about it, as Grimm guessed, so he didn't question her about it any further. "True. What about me then? You never know, i could turn into a bear and attack you." he said, grinning faintly as he teased a bit. Her point was definitely true though. Truthfully, he wasn't exactly tame either. He watched her, puzzled at how quickly the squirrel came to her.

He turned his face down to her, sitting slightly to the left of her. He bit into his apple, feeling the sweet juice trickle down his throat. He nodded. 'Yeah, it comes in handy a lot. I have to actually do an equation in my head first, then i apply it to any object. So it's good i'm great at mental math, otherwise it would have taken me much longer to get them down." he explained to her. If he had added to much gravity, then the apple would have been crushed, or it wouldn't have fallen if he didn't add enough.(have no idea what the equation for gravity is thoXD, sumthin multiply...........)He looked at the squirrel, thinking. "You can control animals?" he asked her, taking a shot at guessing it.

"If you were going to attack me and turn into anything be it a bear as you said, you would have done it already." she told him lightly. "You do not really seem the type to go around randomly hurting people. So I do not really feel the need to leave you alone." She added as she finished her apple and gave the core to the squirrel who chittered at her and ran back to it's home.
"Seems like a trickly thing to handle." Maria said as she looked to the setting sun. She smiled as he fingured out what she had. "Your right I can. Any animal I want." she added smiling. She wistled to a nearby bird calling for it. She laughed when it flew onto her sholdar and nuzzled her face." See nothing to it." she added laughing.

Grimm nodded thoughtfully, shrugging. "Very true." he responded. "No, i really try to avoid violence. You're quite perceptive." he pointed out, looking at her face as he finished his apple. "I kind of like your company, actually." he said, smiling just barely.(if her dad comes looking he should definitely have quite a few men with him, since a couple would be a short rp...since grimm could jus kick their asses in a jiffyXD)
"I've gotten used to it for the most part. I wouldn't risk using it on living things if there were any risk that i may mess up though, since i have to also know the object's weight to do it. It seems i have become a good guesser." He wasn't too pleased about the darkness that was beginning to engulf them. There was still some light out, and he enjoyed this conversation, so he stayed put. He watched the bird come to her. "That seems just as convenient." he stated watching the happy bird.

"Your not so bad yourself." Maria told him with a smile gracing her lips. "It seems as if you have." she said lightly. "Im not sure how it could be convenient excypt for more comapany if I so needed it." She added smiling as she looked around at the forest. When her eye caught the darkness that would soon be engulfing them she stood abruptly. The bird flew off not expecting to be jolted so quickly. "Oh I am late." She said out loud cursing her self. This was not going to be a pretty sight. "I should be getting home. IT was nice to meet you." She told him lightly as she quickly moved to leave. But stopped dead when she saw what was waiting for her. "Maybe you should go." she told him as she backed up a little from her father and his very large friends that she had seen to many times in her life for her liking. "Dad, Hi I was just about to go home." she told him lightly as she kept distance between them.

"I expected you home a long time ago Maria. I believe you know what must be done. Come with me now and there will not be a problem more." Her father Trent said as he gestered for her to come closer to him. When she didnt move for fear of getting close, he ordered one of his group to go and retrive her. The man moving to her had whip like hands that materlized into rope whips that snaked out at Marias feet and hands pulling her to the ground. Hitting the ground with an ooff she called out to the man she had met to leave. She looked at her father and struggled against her confines the man hold her smiled and pulled on the ropes dragging her closer to her father.

"Well, the animals could help you in certain ways, couldn't they? That's more than just company." He blinked, watching her stand abruptly. He stood as well, but did not move to go anywhere, regardless of her suggestion. "I think i'll stay around for a bit." he said cautiously. He examined her father and each man.

The second the man let his whip like hands trap Maria and cause her to fall, Grimm's bright copper eyes faded even darker than when Mara had first mentioned her father. The atmosphere around him seemed to change, no longer nonchalant and friendly. Not at ALL. He practically vanished when he moved, breathing deep, he landed his left fist straight on the tentacle man(XD)'s head. His normal punch wouldn't have done much. But this wasn't normal was it? He had added more g-force to his fist and as a result, as it moved down to impact, it became much heavier, bashing his head quite hard.

Grimm spun around, landing, he took something from his pocket. It looked like a small metal ball. Throwing it in the air, it enlarger to the size of an average dresser, but looked exactly like the Sun, blazing hot. Although of course, the temperature was not as intense as the actual Sun, exact replica it may be, but they would all melt if the temperature was exact too. His eyes darted to the father as well. "Father's shouldn't be so violent to their children." he stated, warning. The way that man talked...just disgusted him beyond his point of irritation. He looked at the other men too, waiting for their reactions(oh yeah bitches! XD).

Even though tentacle man (tongue.gif) had fallen the ropes did not release Maria. She struggled against them as she watched Grimm move through the air with almost no detection. He was almost invisable she thought to herself. Maria couldnt look at the ball as it was to bright for her. Trent glared at the man infront of him. "That was one of my best men you just knocked out." He told him angerly. "I will talk how I want to my own children and I suggest you butt the fuck out." Trent told him as he moved to pull the ropes holding his daughter closer to him.

Grimm let out a growl from the back of his throat. "He obviously wasn't that great if i was able to knock him out." he stated plainly, shrugging. He rolled his shoulder, and rubbed on his wrist. Was he sore? Or what was he doing? He watched Trent. Looking at Maria, he examined the tentacles. Making the miniature Sun smaller by half, he threw it at Maria, so the tentacles melted away from her. Quickly before she was burnt, the mini Sun rushed back besides Grimm. He also noticed Trent happened to be just under the apple tree with more of his men. One of the apples fell again, this time faster, and you would think it to hit him and fall to pieces..which it but, then it seemed the hit knocked the man out as well? Odd gravity was. He rushed forward again, grabbing Maria gently and running back to where he had been, with her beside him. "Like Hell i'm gonna listen to you, mate. No one deserves children with that cocky attitude. Want me to back off? Come here then and make me go away." He retorted, his eyes were black now. A marking on his wrist which he had been rubbing seemed to be...glowing.

Trent glared and watched this man, his arrogance was proving to difficut for him to handle. Maria started at her father now able to stand on her own. She couldnt figure out how he moved so fast but she was gateful for him. Maria noticed a mark on Grimm's write but she choose not to say anything. She smiled at Grimm. And whisteled to all the animals in the area. She smiled when they showed up and started attacking her fathers men. She had them grab all the weapons they could. She left her father alone. Trent looked all around him at his men. "What are you doing bitch." he screamed at his daughter as he became angrier. He rushed at her wilding weapon ready to strike her.

Grimm chuckled, noticing Trent seeming to change his expression a bit. The mark seemed to start melting. The gold color began to melt onto the grass, and it seemed underneath on his skin the mark was now black. It was the creepy moon shaped mark. His eyes became less black, but rather than both being copper again, his right was turning brown. He looked at Maria when she smiled at him, then back at Trent.

He watched as Maria called the animals to get rid of the men around Trent. "Not so tough when you're alone, eh?" Grimm's expression was stoic, his eyes darting to Trent. Wind rushed around the suddenly. The liquid that leaked from his right arm came up from the ground, going along with the wind. It started to become more translucent, and was turning into a clear frost blue color. Just as Trent charged at Maria, the form completed, and the thing that had previously been gold liquid, was now a very large Chinese dragon. Transparent frosty blue color. The color resembled the moon. It flew straight through Trent, knocking him away from the two. Growling angrily, it hovered over Trent. Grimm growled. "Watch who you challenge, old man." he growled again. (ah, i noticed its the wrong pic for his soul dragons0.0, eh, jus go off the description fo now)(oh also~ maybe he calls for...hm, special back up tooXD. instead of jus big brutes, maybe ppl with superhuman strength and shiz!! this could get even more exciting! XD lol sry, love action...hehe plus i wanna show off grimmy dragon anger lol)

Maria watched as frosty blue color was forming in the air between them and her father. Maria noticed it was in the form of a dragon. She wondered if that had more to do with trent or if he chose it to be like that. When Trent hit the ground there was a boom and a flash as twice as many men showed up but these were different. Maria glared and her animals were far more angry and aggatated.

Grimm bit his lip, irritated. /Damn...if i lose my temper..../ he thought worriedly. He let the dragon roar out in rage, flying over to protect Maria and Grimm. It seemed he didn't have to command it, it just knew what he wished it to do. "This is troublesome..." he muttered, but stayed put, keeping guard on Maria. "Weak old man, calling your lackeys." he took from his pocket more of the little silver balls. He threw them in the air all around them. They floated, all of them turning into different ages of stars. He made sure the heat wouldn't affect himself or Maria though, that would be bad.

"Your father has some strange friends." he commented, a cane appearing in his hands. It was a slim, wooden looking cane with a brass handle. Maybe there was something to it. Well, he could always just bash away at them. The dragon lashed out, growling, it let out a bright light. It would affect any of them that were impure. (haha i like her power a lot....angy animals ahhh! lol)

Maria was entranced by the dragon. It seemed to have a bond with Grimm. Some of the men hid there faces others laughed and moved forward a bit. "He likes to have a lot of people around." She told him quickly. The animals moved behind Maria and Grimm. "The animals are here if we need them." she told him lightly.

(( Im heading to bed lol im so damn tired. Ill be on tomrrow if that is okay with you.))

"I noticed..." Grimm said, looking at the odd men. Looks like he was stuck getting a bit dangerous. He rubbed the back of his head. He felt even weaker than before since the dragon, which was actually half his soul, was out. He looked at Maria, smiling gently. "Alright. Don't worry, this dragon will help the animals too." he told her.

He rushed out, smacking the backs of the odd men so they would focus on him. (ohhZ! maybe he gets hurt protecting them? or maybe b/c he gets caught off guard? what u think, im a bully to my charries, lol sry ramblingXD)

"How will it help them?" She asked with glare at the men. Her so called father was at the start of the pack ready and waiting to take them over. So he could take his slave home.

(I think it should be becasue he is protecting her. Then she would feel like she owes him. What you think?)

Grimm had responded to her in between striking at the men. "Ah, well..it would be easier for you to see than for me to explain right now. Let them have at it." he said, meaning let the animals attack the men. He appeared to be tired of just smacking them, and pulled the top of the cane. The handle pulled out, and a silver blade followed. Hidden blade. His gravity power made his fighting easier, as he could make his strikes more powerful, and make the men slip up. His irritation rose as he saw the father's smug grin. Just because he had more men against just the two of them.

The dragon roared, feeling Grimm's irritation. It lashed out like a whip, flying through and throwing some of the men around. "You've got quite the brigade." Grimm growled, looking over at the father. /This is bad, my temper is rising too./ He would use his outer space mimicry power, but that took a lot of energy, even when he used the little silver balls. He already had half his soul dragon out, he couldn't risk it. He was still close to her, but not as close as originally. At least she was still behind him somewhat.

(you start our attack and protect idea whenev u want, itll be more of a surprise that wayXD)

Maria listened to Grimms words and responded by sending the animals to do her bidding. They flew ran and launched them selves at the odd men. Maria smiled as men scatted and were carried away by her animals. She was surprived but what power they seemed to magnify. “There power, they were not able to do that on there own where there? Your dragon is doing it.” She asked as she moved closer to them she was intrigued by the power they were displaying. She moved foreward towards her animals almost in a trance.

Her father smiled. “Yes I do. And if I knew this bitch was going to find some powered iddiot like you. I would have brought more men with me.” He told him getting annoyed that his men were being taken over by animals. / Including Grimm/ Maria was starting to get pissed that her father dare say those things to Grimm. She advanced on her father and he smiled. She was playing right into his plan. He advanced on her wielding his sword ready to show her that she shall never disobey him again.

(I WILL HAVE ORDER! *said in the voice of professor umbridge* i couldnt help it i dunno whyXD ANYWAYS...)

Grimm smirked at Maria. "Yeah, well..it can't actually bite or scratch anything normal though. It's...half of my soul. So it's able to send energy and increase nature type powers." He explained. Since this was the bright, good side of his soul; it diminished dark powers and dark creatures, and as he said, increased the power of nature, or pure things. He spun his cane, the blade slashing swiftly at his men. He was focused on fighting the men, and so he did not realize she was moving further away from him. Not only was she closer to her animals-she was closer to her father.

Snorting, Grimm looked over at Maria's father. He was unfazed by the insults. Like Hell he cared. Jolly old Devil could say what he wanted. ""Your men are all weak and simple minded. Bringing more wont get you any higher likelihood to success." He remarked, shrugging. It was true, Maria's animals and his powers made it even more blatant. Grimm caught on too late to stop him. As a result, rather than stopping him, he disappeared, re appearing in front of Maria to block her from the attack, one of his arms out protectively. Quick thinker he was.

Maria could hear Grimm talking but she was to concerend for her animals sakes. She fought against them but missed when she saw her father advancing to her. She cried out before Grimm was in the way catching the harsh blow of the sword. She screamed out and caught him as he fell on top of her. "A are you alright?" She stammered as she trained the animals to circle around them and keep them safe for as long as she could.

The soul dragon blazed angrily in reaction to Grimm being struck. Its movements became erratic, and it twitched, seeming...affected by something. Its mouth stayed open, but it froze in place. The animals seemed to suddenly increase in the strength they received, and now agility too. The dragon stayed floating in one spot, similar to when a computer freezes because of a 'bug' in it.

Grimm felt himself fall back into Maria. The hot blood escaped from his injury, which, was indeed quite deep. Her father had struck Grimm below the ribs, and by the slashing of the sword, the injury stretched up near his sternum. His eyes became wider, pupils dilating and his iris turning-from icy copper to shadow black. He smelt the blood from his injury, feeling it tingle. He couldn't respond, moving his hand up, rather than to his injury, to over his heart. Blood came up his throat, escaping through the sides of his lips onto the grass. Staining the cool green rose red. He could hear cracking, and, evidently, so could those closest to him. He shoved Maria back and away from him, rather than responding. He stumbled without her support.

Suddenly, he smirked, the cracking sounds became louder, and not only bones, but they could see his veins and muscles moving and changing under his skin. There was a lot more blood now, from his mouth, and especially injury. A crooked smirk came to his face, and he tilted his head back, looking at Maria's father. "I'm no idiot, i'm a fuckin' dragon, and you pissed me off." So he was shifting? (fyi, not gonna have him shift all in this post, prob fin off his shiftin next reply lol)

Maria couldnt believe all the blood that was pouring out him him. She was covered in the warm liqued it stained her rose red. Easily she could hear the crackling of his blood and veins She was scared when he shoved her away from him. She wondered if maybe she did somthing wrong.

When she saw the smirk that engulfed his face she looked to her father and saw the fear in his eyes. Her dad started to back away odering men to get infront of him. "I pissed you off by trying to get the reatched bitch back. Well you can have her she is a terrible cook." He told him darkly as he still held his bloddied sword.

His soul dragon roared, vanishing completely. Grimm would feel bad for covering her in his blood later. For now, his mind was far too blank for that. The cracking got worse, and he yelled out, crouching forward, his head tilting forward and his eyes still wide. His skin tore, and his muscles and veins started changing and growing. As his skin ripped further, his internals, or some of them, were visible. Even his organs were changing and growing. Most disturbing, if anyone were to catch site of it, was the state of his heart. As his sternum broke and starting changing and growing, for a moment it was visible. And, though pink and healthy, the center showed the start of a rotting area. As if there were something in the middle of his heart rotting it open.

His spine grew too, starting to grow more ribs, making his rib cage longer. It was noticeable now, that the anatomy was changing to become more like a snake or dragon. By this point, his skin was being replaced with hard, rock like skin, and his legs had become one, the ribs growing out on his spine even where his legs had been. Which, were now completely gone, molded into the-now tail-of Grimm. His limbs were gone, and his form was completely unrecognizable. Massive, too. It seemed, as a-now obviously a dragon- dragon, his eyes were smaller, indicating his sight wasn't as good as it was when he was human form. He snarled at the men, whipping his head lower to look at them and snarl, slithering on the ground. It seemed reasonable that he had shoved Maria away. He would have crushed her shifting if he hadn't(FUCK YEAH BEST SHIFT EVER. XD).

The men panicked and all started running for the hills. They couldnt move fast enough leaving Damian in the path of the dragon. Maria gasped when the transformation was complete. "Your a dragon." She stuttered as she backed away slowly. "I should have known. No wonder you pushed me away." She said as she walked up to his side and smiled at her father. "I suggest you run. Although I doubt it will stop him from killing you." She told him as she felt no remorse for her fathers soon demise.

The hills was, well, not a good place to run to. He never specified what kind of dragon he was. In this case, he was indeed a dragon of natural disasters. Grimm snapped at some of the men, not caring much if any of them were lucky enough to escape. The amount of thought he had significantly decreased once he was in dragon form. Even before actually shifting, his amount of thought decreased.

He could smell them all, looking at Maria's father specifically now. The cause of his rage. He let out a roar, pulling further off the ground so he slightly floated, wrapping behind him, head further in the air. The roar he bellowed let loose a earth shaking tremble to the ground. After all, earthquakes were a part of natural disasters. And, his men now experienced something unpleasant. The hills shook violently. The earthquake was not just where Maria and her father was, it was quite a bit around their circumference. He snapped at Damian, though got beside him. His teeth dug into the ground, picking up dirt and most of it fell from the sides of his mouth. Since it was close beside Damian, he was shoved over, an shoved over even further by the dirt that fell.

Maria fell to the ground as Grimm let out a loud roar. She saw all of her fathers men falling into small caverns that had split open or trying to catch one another. Slolwy she shooed the animals away realseing them to go and find cover. She crawled of the ground to see if Grimm was fareing well. Damian cried out as she fell to the ground hard. "I I didnt mean it. I swear. She is a good girl really. I promise I will never lay a hand on her again." He rambled hoping to save his pitaful life.

Grimm snarled, opening his jaws and with one quick motion, snapped down on Maria's father. He didn't full force, only one tooth puncturing the skin. Not only skin he damaged, the tooth dug into his heart, straight through. He opened his jaws, flicking his head, throwing the man away. He made a 'thud' sound as he hit the ground away from them. Grimm growled, lowering his head facing Maria's father, in front of Maria. Protective, he waited just in case, remaining alert and attentive.

His breathing was hollow and heavy, that was mostly because of his size that it was not quiet. His tail flicked back and forth on the ground. The grass moved gently from his breath, swaying. There remained the crimson liquid that Grimm had shed when he shifted. It was starting to dry though. Though he was mostly thoughtless as a dragon, he only ever attacked what caused himself or something he cares about harm. And his instincts kick in even more when he is protecting something.

Maria watched as Grimm took her father in his dragons mouth. She saw a gush of blood as He shook his head and released her father far into the woods away from them. When he lowered his head infront of her to prtect her she smiled and moved up to him. Lightly touching his hardened skin. "Thank you Grimm. I couldnt have done this with out you." She told him lightly.
