Estelle had decided in the morning from watching the sun rise that today was her day off. Sure it was Wednesday and there were classes but today wasn't the day to be stuck inside all day. Nope, today she had decided she would go to a clearing or the forest to shift into a bear or something. Though her favorite animal was a fox or a badger or better yet a Honey badger. Nothing can beat the legendary Honey Badger.
Then the idea of scaring a freshman popped into her mind. She would that later preferably when someone was showering. That would be precious. She turned around quickly after hearing a branch snap. Had someone been following her? "Come out, come out, wherever you are." she sang out loud. If anyone dared try and surprise her they would find a bear trying to rip the aggressors guts apart. What a lovely site that would be.

(prob gonna have two charries out of habitXD)
Jerardo walked around after leaving the nurses office. Although he was young, he worked there part of the time. For now, he decided to check around outside if he might find any student or animal that may be injured. He was far too distracted by his thoughts, so did not notice the presence.
Until of course, he heard a female's voice yelling out. Blinking, he kept walking, looking around to spot the girl. "Ah, no, i hadn't even noticed anyone else was hangin' around here. Sorry." he said, sounding fairly polite. His hands were in his pockets, and his eyes were a odd silver color. There was a small gold birdie on his shoulder. It proceeded to tweet at him, and it seemed to have said something negative, since he rolled his eyes. /Idiot! Pay attention, even as a bird form i can sense things!/ was the birds words.

"Oh well as long as your not a psychopathic killer, or child molester its cool." she beamed at the boy with the cool silver eyes. However he seemed like he was chill, like if he was someone who wouldn't rat her out for skipping class. The last person who did that... well let's just say they have a nasty scar on their cheek. "So did you decide to skip class too or do you have a free period or something?" she asked not wanting the conversation to die quickly. If someone was going to be around her might as well talk right? Estelle could help but snigger at the birds words. "Birds right, you should pay attention more often." she said with a wink. Of course with her animal abilities she could hear and understand the birds simple tweet tweet. "You're cute by the way." she said referring to the bird not the guy, animals were her passion probably because she could be one herself if she wanted. "Oh, I'm Estelle by the way." she said smiling.

Jerardo smiled at her. "No, can't say i'm either of those." He noticed how she seemed happy to have run into someone. That was a good thing though, he was bad with shy people. Although, he is quite reserved himself. He was intrigued to be mistaken for a student, although he did look young. "Um, no...i'm a nurse at the school. I came outside to see if i would find anything that needs healing."
The bird seemed to laugh. /Hehe, people always fool you for younger./ the bird chirped, flapping her wings. /Thanks!/ she responded, thinking a moment, she fluttered to Estelle. /Call me Se./ She said, sitting on her shoulder.
"Apparently i can't help but agree." he said to Se's amusement. Jerardo realized after her introduction that he never mentioned his name. He raised a brow at the golden birdie after she had spoken, but looked at Estelle again. "Nice to meet you, i'm Jerardo."

"A nurse seriously?" she said in surprise, "No offense but you don't look like the nurse type." she laughed off. She wasn't trying to be rude or anything but she did find it quite surprising. She always pictured nurses to be the serious, always dressed elegantly type, oh and not to mention nurses where usually girls... yup, not trying to be rude.Estelle looked at the bird on her shoulder, "You may call me Es, shorter than Estelle." she said smiling. Her face brightened at the realization of the names, "Your name is Se and I'm Es. Just switch the letters to get each others name. Quiet original huh?" she said laughing. "I guess the three of us have something to agree on!" she exclaimed after hearing Jerardo's words. "Well if I ever break something, I now know who to look for." she said laughing, though the possibility was quiet possible considering she wasn't the type to sit calmly.

Jerardo grinned lightly at her response. /Well now, someone's blunt./ he thought to himself. It was amusing, though, so he did not mind too much. "You're not the first to think so. It's what i like to do, now that i figured a way to use my power to heal." he shrugged it off, wondering what else she was thinking.
Se tweeted in giggles. /Ah yes yes, how interesting. Hehe, besides, he wouldn't disagree with me. I'm much faster./ she tweeted confidently. Yes, the little golden bird, chest puffed out wings spread. Acknowledging her confidence and strength.
Jerardo snickered. "You're in the wrong form to be making that comment, it sounds funny." he regretted his comment, as he received a harsh glare from the birdie calling herself Se. Se, short for her real name.
/Huhu! Insult me./ she huffed, looking even cuter than before.

"Ah the power of healing. That's very cool." Estelle said sincerely. The power of saving someone from the brink of death, she believed it to be one of the best powers considering lives were in their hands, they could just let someone die if they weren't their favorite.
"I hold the power of animal shifting, very useful to make a speedy getaway." she said chuckling. There were many possibilities in her category. She could turn into a cheetah to run away quickly, or say a bear to attack, or a badger to look cute. The possibilities were endless, and she loved it.
"So Se is the brains of you two?" She questioned glancing at the two of them. She watched Se puff her chest out, "awwww.. how cute!" she gushed, as hard and blunt she might seem, she was still a girl who loved little cute things. "I could just eat you up!" she said before adding quickly, "Metaphorically of course." she said with a wink. No birds are being harmed for a meal today.
Estelle laughed, "Well don't you two get along well!" she exclaimed.

Jerardo smiled at Estelle. She seemed to have so much more energy than himself. Well, he did just burn energy healing at the nurses office. "Eh,...well, that's not what the power is originally intended for...i've just figured out how to use it for healing." he admitted after a moment. "A shifter? That is convenient. But does it drain you, shifting?" he asked her genuinely curious.
Se tweeted in response to Estelle. /Why thank you human darling. Ho ho i hate to admit it, but no, Doc over there is brains. Yes, that's right, i admit you are smarter./ she said seeing Jerardo's expression of amusement.
Jerardo snickered. "Oh yes, best of friends." he said sarcastically, smiling. He heard a snap some ways off, and frowned. "Seems we aren't alone anymore?" he said, puzzled.
Se tweeted, sensing the presence before Jerardo. /Oh dear,...wait, i sense blood? Hm, maybe someone was injured? Unpleasant things are sometimes in the forest, after all./ she tweeted thoughtfully. It was suspicious though, the little golden bird, smelling blood?

"Depends what I shift into. If its a small animal for example it uses less energy and I'm fine but say something bigger like a whale. That drains my energy quickly. I'm tiny so smaller animals suit me and my energy better." Estelle explained, when she was younger she used to spend hours in a fox form with no true consequences but she has never been able to stay as a big animal for too long maybe and hour at most. Animals that used a lot of energy like a cheetah were pretty tricky as well.
Estelle laughed, strangely they reminded her of the stereotypical married couple. A snap of a branch brought her smile down though. "Blood?" Estelle mumbled. She glanced around but didn't notice anything moving anymore or sounds. It was eerily quiet. Woah, since when can birds smell blood.
The sound or shifting bushed and branches echoed again. Estelle turned to the sound which came from behind her. One thing was for sure it didn't sound small. "Let's go see what it is." She said softly taking a small step forward, wondering if they would be coming.

"Hm, that makes sense." Jerardo nodded, agreeing. "Be careful. We don't know just what it is yet." he warned. Cautiously, he moved forward, walking quietly until he peeked around a tree. Blinking, he spotted what looked like a little girl with a long plain white dress, straight blond long hair, and a fox tail laying curled up in a ball. She appeared to be bleeding on her leg, as blood shown through the long dress. "Hey..." he muttered, looking around.
Se tweeted, flying ahead, she landed on a branch, cocking her head when she saw the girl with a tail. When Estelle got there, she tweeted quietly. /A wild fox? I haven't seen this little girl before...whatever attacked her..might still be around./ she cautioned the two below her. She fluttered down onto Estelle's shoulder again.
"Whatever it was, we should probably get her out of here first before i heal her, right?" he suggested, looking at Estelle. It was peculiar though, they couldn't have heard the girl, it sounded like something larger. /Maybe the smell of blood came from the girl, and the snapping branch what attacked her?/ he thought to himself.
