Saphire smiled in her sleep, she could hear him purring.
After about an hour, maybe even longer, Saphire woke up and rubbed her eyes as she sat up. Saph rubbed his chest lightly, writing a quick note for him and kissed his cheek. She left to get them some food. /What did Xavier always get?/ she thought.

Sleeping, Xavier was so comfortable he shifted into his tiger form and swirmed around in the bed. Purring louder, he roared as a yawned and looked around and Saphire was gone. He switched back to normal form and read the note and smirked and he got out of bed.

Saphire finished getting her order and headed back to his room. She went in and smiled, seeing him awake. "Morning sleepy head" she said and handed him a bag. "I didn't know what you wanted so I got you a few things" she told him.

Xavier rubbed his face as he sat at the end of the bed and yawned. "Oh lord I'm so tired." He looked up at Saphire and chuckled at her taking the bag "spinach wrap?... ahh a sandwich.. that works too I guess" he teased her and unwrapped the plastic wrap around the sandwich and took a large bite into it.

"I still don't see how you could that that. Spinach is gross" Saphire commented and pulled out a sub sandwich for herself. She watched him and poked his stomach, smiling lightly she moved away from him so he couldn't get her.

With a full mouth, he swallowed his bite "Babe! It's just the tortilla that's green that's it!" Xavier chuckled and grew out his long orange striped tail. He swung it around her hips and pulls her to him "You're forgetting a very important thing, you can never out run me"

"It doesn't matter what it is. It's still gross" Saphire told him. She squeaked as he pulled her back with his tail and growled, "I knew that tail of yours would get on my nerves one day" she said. She bit his cheek and sat in his lap as she ate. "Why must you use your shifting against me?" she asked as she looked at him.

Gobbling down the last piece of his sandwich Xavier chewed and closed his eyes. "Never got a complaint about this before" He laughed and rubbed his cheek she bit. "It's my job, I need to defend myself somehow."

"I'm not complaining. I was just saying" Saphire said. She finished her food and kissed his neck. "I know you were planning on sleeping all day, but get ready. I was thinking we could do something today" she told him. She stood and kissed him, "I'm going to go take a shower and change. I expect to see you dressed and ready to go when I get back"

Xavier with a loud whining voice he bounced up and down on the bed. 'But but" he crawled under the covers and put a pillow over his head. "I don't want to go I'm tired!" he muffled through his pillow.

"I don't care. You can sleep when we get back, I promise" Saphire told him and threw the covers off of him, "Now get up. But if you don't want to go, then fine. It looks like I'll have to return the thing I got for you" she stood by the door, "You're choice babe"

Xavier grunted as he got up "Sooo tired.." Standing he slipped in his feet into his sneakers and slid on his jacket "What thing?" he asked and grabbed his keys and wallet. Turned off the lights and stepped out the room locking the door.

"Just a thing" Saphire said. "It's a surprise. But if you're planning on doing nothing today then I'll just return it" she told him and started to walk to her dorm. She then waited for him and tool his hand, "If you're going to my room you have to wait in the room while I change in the restroom." she added and kissed his cheek.
