Jesse looked down, "well it's because of when I was little. I didn't have a good childhood and when I left I told myself I'd help people when they need it. My parents didn't care about me. Didn't care I got teased or bullied" he said then looked at them both.

Tsukiko's expression saddened. "Oh. I'm sorry about your family. If only we knew you back then, we would've kept people from bullying you." she said, smiling at Jesse. She seemed like such a sweet girl.
Kanata looked at the ground when Jesse told them about his family. 'That's terrible. I don't think people like that deserve to be parents." he said frankly.

"i doubt that. People tried defending me but it didn't help. Just made it worse. So, I snapped. Ran out while school was in session and never went back" Jesse said.
"And they didn't want a kid at the time. Especially one with a 'skin disease' and a disfigured face at times" he added glancing at Luka. "they told people I was homeless. That they let me stay their"

Tsukiko watched Jesse as he continued to speak. As he finished, she kept her gaze on his face. "It's good you ran away. You may not have come here if you had not run away when you did." she pointed out. She was glad to have met him, but he seemed a troubled guy.
(haha, Kanata not Luka)Kanata looked to Jesse. "A lot of parents react that way when they discover their children not entirely human. You shouldn't let it bother you though." he added.

"I guess. But when I left I got a letter saying they wanted me back" Jesse said. "my dad always beat m-me when I g-g-got a B in a class. M-m-made me get.an A o-or I wouldn't l-live to see another d-day" he sighed as his voice betrayed him and his stutter came.

Tsukiko frown deepened. Suddenly, she pulled her arms around him, gently squeezing him. "It's okay. No one will hurt you anymore. Don't go back there if they do things like that. No one deserves that." she said softly, not letting him go.
Kanata watched the ground, something grim taking his expression. He didn't feel bad for the guy per say, more so that he hated those parents for sure. He would probably go raging if he saw either of them.(oh! idea!!! lets do more involvin his parents:3)

Jesse suddenly felt awkward as she hugged him. "they actually tried to see if I was 'possessed'. Called a priest and everything" he said. He looked at Kanata silently asking to get her off. That he wasn't used to it.

Kanata made a 'ehh...' sound, looking at Tsukiko's back. She let him go before Kanata was able to convince her to let go. He looked puzzled at Tsukiko.
Tsukiko released him, taking a step back. "I'm sorry, i just felt sad about it...those are terrible parents." she said quitely, playing with the bottom of her skirt.(hm, they come and start naggin him and crap?)

"it's fine. I'm just not used to the....... (inappropriate word here)" Jesse got out of the water and headed to the male and female heading his way. He and the couple were talking, he was getting a bit loud and knew the others could hear.

Jesse shrugged and looked around. "They just didn't want a family so early...but that's what they got and acted like they didn't. Oh well" He looked around again and saw a male and a female walking around looking for someone. He looked at them and realized who they were and cursed lightly.
The couple saw him and walked toward him "Jesse!" The female called out. "Come here please" He got up and walked toward them. They got into an altercation and jesse got a little loud and knew the others could hear from where they were. @ tag |

"They don't want a family it's not hard to avoid having one." Really, like people thought there was no chance in making a kid if they had protection. Kanata shook his head in disbelief at the ridiculousness of it. What kind of idiot adults were they? He spotted the pair near them too, and coxked his head when he heard Jesse cursing. "What?" He started to say more, but one of the two called out his name, and his attention fell to them.
Tsukiko played with her hair absently, a little uncomfortable with the words he said. Parents like that were silly...having a kid when they don't want one and then getting mad at the kid for being born. She moved closer unintentionally to Kanata, frowning at the couple. "Who-" Jesse had moved over to them and she couldn't finish her question. Looking at Kanata, she made a noise in complaint when he stood up and headed for the two as well. She followed right at his heels.
"What's happening now?" he intervened, frowning at the couple. Tsukiko stood next to Jesse.
